Happy Year of the Rabbit..2023
In Japanese culture, the rabbit is known to be the luckiest of all twelve animals. It symbolizes mercy, elegance and beauty. The Ryukyu rabbit is a dark-furred rabbit which is only found in two small islands between southern Kyúushú and Okinawa in Japan and is a living remnant of ancient Asian mainland rabbits.
Ryukyu is hand sewn in black Steiff schulte alpaca and is fully jointed with a hand embroidered lightly waxed nose. His ears are wired so they can be posed up or down. His paws and inner ears are from ultra suede and he has German black glass eyes. He is decorated with a beautiful orange organza ribbon. Ryukyu sits at 7 cm (without ears)
Ryukyu wishes you a wonderful 2023.

So unique. Great detail. He’ll be cherished for many years to come. Thanks for the extras, and the care you put into the packaging. Nice personal touch.
Laila is a very sweet little bear and design. She is very well made and a true classic. I recommend this artist's work.
This little bear is an artists dream. I just love the inspiration exhibited here. Can’t wait to see what the seller comes up with next!
